I'm considering going on a missions trip to Haiti for a week to help with some building. In two weeks. Considering.
But - passport is in order - and Laura is supportive. So I'm going to continue looking into it and thinking about it...
Stay tuned to see if this goes forward - or just turns out to be a good idea that doesn't pan out.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Plusses and minuses of going forward with something like this?

I have never heard of anyone going on a mission trip and regretting it. I haven't. I only regret that it has been so long since I have been on one. If it has come up short notice and will work with your schedule it seems like you should go for it. The schedule is always the tricky part. Also, you should pick up whatever kind of stomach OTC medication you have ever used that worked at all and take it every day, as often as is safely allowed, as long as you are gone :). Love K
